1900s Pioneer Alcohol M.D. Sterilizer Burner. The lower container with the cap and chain was filled with alcohol and has a wick that is used to sterilize needles and other small instruments while traveling. Imprinted on the bottom is "U.S.A., M.D. Pioneer, New York, N.Y." It dates back to the first decades of the 1900s and was used by medics on the field and others who did not have immediate access to commercial sterilizing services. |
